Strawberries and Cream


  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, and vanilla extract. Toss gently to coat the strawberries in the sugar mixture.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks.
  3. Divide the strawberries evenly among serving dishes, then top with a dollop of whipped cream.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
